Best local restaurant? "O Mirandês" or "São Pedro".
Best typical dish / snack from the region? Posta à mirandesa, alheira sausages, sweet bread.
What typical souvenir can one buy? Figure of the "Menino Jesus da Cartolinha".
What is there to see / do / try? Sé Cathedral, several viewpoints overlooking the Douro River and the "pauliteiros".
A curiosity? The enigmatic No. 2 located in the Yellow Crag, which can be seen from the Sé Cathedral viewpoint. Legend has it that "Whoever manages to see the '2' has a wedding in Miranda. Whoever does not see it does not get married".
