On April 25th 1974 Portugal began a new cycle, the cycle of Freedom!
However, and according to the most recent report of "Freedom in the World" from a total of 210 countries and territories, only 85 are free, 58 partially free and 67 are not free. In other words, 60% of the world does not know what it is to live in freedom.
Tourism, known as the "Industry of Peace", plays a very important role in building a freer world as:
- Promotes tolerance and understanding between different cultures and peoples;
- It supports the global economy and job creation;
- It stimulates sustainable development;
- It promotes freedom of movement;
- Contributes to peace and stability.
