The United Nations celebrate the World Bee Day on May 20th.
Bees are fundamental for food security and biodiversity conservation, and this year the UN has paid special attention to the production and measures adopted by beekeepers to support their livelihoods and the quality of their products.
And if there is quality honey, it is Portuguese, considered one of the best in the world!
We highlight some of the areas / regions where it is produced and invite you to visit them with us: Lousã, Monchique, Terra Quente (Northeast Portugal), Minho High Lands, Barroso, Alentejo, Montezinho Park, North Ribatejo and Azores.
